Nate Burgei, CIH, CSP, founded Capital Safety and Health Consulting LLC to provide high-quality occupational safety and health services to clients in the Washington, DC area and beyond.

Nate’s experience includes serving as a Compliance Safety and Health Officer (OSHA inspector) with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in the Allentown, PA Area Office, as well as an Industrial Hygienist with the Department of Labor’s Office of Worker Safety and Health. He later spent many years as a consultant in private industry.

This combination of government and private-sector experience gives Nate a unique perspective and deep insight into occupational safety and health regulations.

Nate is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University.
